The new wave of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is an opportunity as well as a challenge for us. We are evolving into a more intelligent society that connects everything through the convergence between digital devices and humans, and between physical space and cyberspace. Also, we are evolving into a giant intelligent platform through hyperconnection between the mobile communication and iCloud and superconvergence with artificial intelligence based on ICT technology.
The vision of next generation ICT technology is to innovate the rationality of human behavior and industrial utilization and to create new added value based on the super intelligent infrastructure that connects objects and artificial intelligence. Faced with such a great change, not only individuals but also enterprises and government should actively prepare for changes brought by technological innovation. Our institute is going to present data and propose policies through researches and seminars so that national policies and companies can develop in the right direction at the crossroad of such changes. Also, we plan to propose policies that would promote mutual growth through fair competition between the companies.
